구름특별자치시에 엄마가 산다

작은 개울 건너 구불구불
운주산성 가는 좁은 길 따라
비탈을 오르면

거기. 엄마가 산다

봄 되면 철쭉꽃 눈부시게
환한 산등성이

거기. 엄마가 산다

엄마는
그 무엇도 아니고
그 무엇도 가지고 있지 않다

시간이 멈춘
내가 없는 그곳

엄마는 거기. 바람처럼 떠 있다

구름특별자치시는
삼천 년을 걸어야 닿을 수 있다

Wind’s Home

Mother lives in the special autonomous Clouds City

As I clamber up the slope along the narrow track
Towards the Mt. Unju Castle
Meandering across the streamlet

There, Mother lives

In springtime
Rhododendrons shine
Along the hillsides

There, Mother lives

Mother is a non-entity,
She owns nothing whatsoever

There time stops
There I don’t exist

Mother floats there
Like the wind

You have to walk three millennia
To attain the special autonomous Clouds City
