제비꽃이 피었다

우리집 담 밑에 제비꽃이 피었다
봄날의 마법처럼 깊은 어둠 뚫고 피었다
아무리 힘든 세상도 사는 게 더 낫다며 피었다
꽃도 사람처럼 누군가의 환한 시선 받고 싶다며 피었다
슬픔은 삶을 낭비할 때 생기는 회한의 그림자
서로서로 격려하며 기쁘게 한 시절 잘 보내자고 피었다
눈물 나게 따뜻한 작은 꽃잎들 불쑥불쑥 내밀며
외로울 땐 거울 보듯 자신을 보러 나오라며 피었다
사방이 연둣빛으로 감격스런 화창한 봄날 오후
자꾸만 잊혀지고 멀어지는 첫 순정, 첫사랑처럼
저 혼자, 저 멀리서 찾아와
우리 집 담 밑에 작고 예쁜 보랏빛으로 피었다
향기로운 봄바람에 수줍은 서정抒情처럼 피었다

A Pansy Has Bloomed

A pansy has bloomed below the fence in our house
It has bloomed through the deep darkness like spring-day magic
Has bloomed saying it’s better to live however hard the world
Has bloomed saying even the flower, like man, wants to meet someone’s bright gaze
Sorrow is regret’s shadow that emerges when life is wasted
Has bloomed saying let’s spend a season joyfully encouraging each other
Putting forth tiny leaves tearfully warm
Has bloomed saying, when lonesome, one should come out to see oneself as in a mirror
On a sunny and exciting spring afternoon with green light all around
It has bloomed as a pretty violet flower beneath the fence in our house
Having come alone, from so far away
Like the first pure affection, like first love
That gets forgotten and pulls back again and again
It has bloomed like the lyricism shy at the fragrant spring wind
