비오는 날

빗줄기 사이사이 젖지 않은 자리가 많다

나는 몸을 접고 또 접어

그 얇은 공간 속으로 들어간다
쏟아지는 소리, 아득하다

가만 보니
빗줄기 자리자리 사람들이 많다
몸을 접고 또 접었다
비 오는 날은 모두 몸을 접어
빗속에 앉아있나 보다

접힌 몸과 몸 사이

Rainy Day

Among streaks of rain
Many places remain un-wet.

I fold my body again and again

And go into that thin space;
The pouring rain sounds remote.

Looking closer,
I note a large crowd among sheets of rain.
I fold my body again and again.
It seems on rainy days everybody folds his body and
Sits in the rain,

Among the folded bodies.
