곤한 하품에 눈물 찔끔 훔치는
무말랭이 같은 눈물샘을 가진 여자
기념일은 살림에 꾹꾹 쑤셔두고
수년을 농기구로 삭은
가슴에 별이 박힌 장수풍뎅이 닮은 여자
안전화가 헐어 안전하지 않다고
생명보험계약을 거절당하고
한숨이 밭이랑에 고추비닐 씌우듯
스르르 풀어지다가도
장대비 쏟아지면
논고랑에 온몸을 던져 물막이가 되는
신혼여행조차 없었던 여자
두 아들 군대 보내며 갔던 논산과 춘천이
산골 논배미, 갯벌바다가 외출 전부인 여자
큰 아들 생일이라며 1박2일 외출에
텅 빈집.
식탁에는 헛젓가락질만
덩그러니 홀로 밤을 붉힌다.

The sea beach had been her only outings.
