춘사월 비바람에 자목련 꽃잎 지네

이팔청춘 꽃나이에 저 세상으로 떠난
내 첫사랑의 자줏빛 연서戀書
자목련 꽃잎 지네

눈물에 말갛게 씻겨 되살아난
구구절절 꽃물 든 사연이
땅 위에 꽃방석을 깔고 있네

내 묵은 일기장이 
춘사월 비바람에 휘날리고 있네

아득한 하늘 저 편에서

Purple-magnolia blossoms fall
In the wind and rain of fresh April.

Fall the purple-magnolia blossoms that are
The purple love-letters from my first love
Who went to the otherworld in his flowery twenties.

Each and every flower-tinted tale that
Has revived having been cleansed by tears
Lingers over a flowery mat on the ground.

Flutters in the wind and rain of fresh April.

Yearning is getting wet
Beyond that remote sky.
