나선螺線의 형식

느릅나무 배배 감아
흔들림으로 세운 느릅의 공중을 힘줄 돋우고 따라 오르며
느릅의 나이테처럼 넝쿨손을 말아 보는 호박넝쿨

껍데기 속에 연한 살을 태엽처럼 감았다가     
천천히 풀면서 나아가는 고둥들

회오리는 횡으로만 불던 바람이 갑자기
수직으로 내려꽂히다가
제 몸을 감아 돌며 상승하는 바람의 중심

 
19층 그녀의 계단은 용수철이 감겨 있다.
꾹 꾹 눌러 밟고 한 칸 한 칸 올라야 한다.
그 한 칸을 뛰어넘는 내가 곧잘 튕겨지는 이유다.

Spiral’s Form

Pumpkin vines screw up the vine’s hands
Like the elm’s annual rings
Coiling around the elm tree
Clambering into the elm’s mid-air erected by swaying
With bulging sinews.

Winding up the soft flesh within the shell like clockwork,
The conch advances slowly unwinding it.

The whirlwind is the center of the wind that ascends,
Coiling around its own body
While blowing only horizontally and then
Suddenly plunging vertically.

A spring is coiling around her staircase on the 19th floor
One must climb from cell to cell by treading heavily.
That’s the reason I get bounced back
While trying to leap over that one cell.
