<Teacup>찻잔
I didn't know that a sharp frothing fury hides
In the feel of the round and soft teacup
That looks proper when it contains fragrance
And smiles gently.
The teacup seems to have noticed
The insidious egoism
Which lurks in my temperament
That feigns good nature.
It seems to deny my offer and
Fall shivering,
Breaking its head on the floor,
Wielding a sharpened blade.

<A Day>하루
The sun spreads its skirts and
Sends out golden bees.
Shapes and colors wake up to go to work.
All things heighten their tones,
Heating the day.
The sounds of the flute pierce the night.
The day, taking off its overalls,
Prepares to leave the work-place.
The sky and earth hug each other for rest.
I can't stay in one place.
The stars twinkle for thousands of years
To burn up just once.
The sun spreading across the horizon
Convenes the stars and lights the lantern,
Hauling the fresh day through the night.

<There's...an Island>섬, 있는데
There's an island that surges in the ebb tide.
The island gazes at the horizon,
Dipping and ducking,
Playing hide and seek in the water.
I want to be a tortoise in that island,
And a barnacle;
I want to deter the surf.
I want to cry, sounding the seashell,
When the island wails.
The crescent moon trembles;
Stars quiver.
The Milky Way shatters.
The island approaches close towards me,
Tapping my hands.
There, that place is still there.
