춘설春雪 

목련 나무 잘려나간 가지 끝 새로   

뻗치는 핏줄 속을 흐르기 시작하는 

연둣빛 피톨들 잔설로 나부끼는 

슬픔의 환한 입자들 사랑을 놓치고 

어둠 번지는 플랫폼을 홀로 서성이는

누군가의 구둣발 소리 서늘히 비껴간   

한마디는 어느날 문득 

꽃등을 밝히고 아린 봄밤을 당기리 

이-별로 가는 길 위에 

첫발을 얹는 사람의 가쁜 숨소리 

잠잠한 수면을 휘젓는 바람결 따라   

울먹울먹 고개 드는 그림자 

꽃의 가능성 속으로 

불그레하게 번지는     

볼웃음 소리

Spring Snow 

Where sorrow’s bright particles miss love

While hunter-green phytols waver over the remnant snow

That begin to rush through the blood vessels extending among the broken twigs of the magnolia tree.

Where someone’s boots slip coolly while he loiters alone on the darkening platform--

The single word suddenly one day will

Light the flower lantern and pull up the orchid spring night.

The harsh breathing of one who takes the first step on the farewell path

Along the wind that churns up the calm surface of the water.

A shadow raises its head choking with tears.

The laughing voices spread ruddy into the flower’s potency.
