물길

골짜기가 바람을 한 입 가득 품었다가 내뿜는다. 안개가 피어난다. 안개 너머로 구름이 그윽이 바라본다. 구름 떼가 둥글게 뭉친다. 흘러내리던 둥근 잔해가 뺨에 그대로 매달린다. 단단한 열매다. 열매는 시간을 기르며 익는다. 그 사이 골짜기는 자주 안개를 만들고, 별들의 발길도 잦았다. 다 자란 시간은 열매의 등을 가르고 튕겨 나온다. 시간이 물고 있는 어린 눈빛은 투명하다. 어린 눈빛 속에 너의 어제가 있다.

투명한 눈빛이 눈빛끼리 만나, 계절이 뜨고 지는 골짜기에 물길을 낸다. 나무들 몸을 틀어 물길을 향해 굽는다. 산그늘의 푸른 혀는 무덤 앞에 놓인 꽃을 핥는다. 새보다 더 새같이 우는 짐승이 구름 떼 속으로 사라지고, 밤보다 더 어두워지는 너는 남는다. 너는 헐거운 도시가 흘린 불온. 처벅처벅 물길 속 달빛이 흩어지는 밤은 길다.

The Path of the Water

The gorge takes a mouthful of wind and then blows it out. The fog blooms. The cloud gazes dimly from beyond the fog. The clusters of fog gather roundly. The round wreckage, flowing down, clings to the cheeks. It's a solid fruit. The fruit ripens while grooming the time. Meantime, the gorge frequently breeds fog, and the stars visit there quite often. The full-grown time parts the back of the fruit and pops out. The gleam of the young eye-beams the time holds in its mouth is crystal clear. Your yesterday stays in the young eye-beams.

The young eye-beams meet one another; the season forges a water's path in the gorge that rises and falls. The trees twist their bodies and bend toward the water's path. The green tongue in the hill's shade licks the flowers placed before the grave. The beast that cries more like a bird than a bird disappears into the cluster of clouds. You, who darken darker than night, remain. You are a disquiet shed by the loose night. The night is long where the moonlight in the water's path scatters plop plop.
